Getting the most out of your business plan –
By making it a living plan

Did you get the most out of your plan last year?

If not, why not? What could we change and how could we keep moving forward?

Here are some tips on getting the most out of your plan.

  1. Getting together can often be the most efficient way to move forward on a big decision or a plan. But it only works if the meeting is set up for the right outcomes. With a clear goal to plan, update and keep things simple and flexible, we can achieve your business objective.
  2. Goal setting is a powerful process for thinking about your ideal future, and for motivating yourself to turn your vision of this future into reality. When considering your goals, begin with a long term vision, followed by 1 year out and then the next three months. This will help to build robust achievable goals.
  3. With the business landscape constantly changing, having flexibility in your business is a big key to success. Setting goals and outcomes are essential but there needs to be room for adaptability. When setting goals keep in mind these 5 tips.
  • Don’t set a course and blindly stick to it
  • Don’t just do what others tell you
  • Don’t accept everything as it first seems
  • Always keep developing your vision and your goals
  • When your vision changes, change direction with it

I publish additional information over on my Facebook page and also on my LinkedIn – so make sure you are “following” me on Facebook, and connected with me on LinkedIn. Instructions on how to do this are in last month’s newsletter, here.

What does this really mean?

Motivation to make and keep clear goals, priorities, and direction.
What’s most important about setting a goal is achieving it.

Renewed direction and confidence for your business path.

Insight for the right tools and business networks.
For any business, networking can provide a lifeline of support and knowledge. It can help you benchmark against other businesses, boost your reputation, generate leads or mutual benefits or just share information.
